Our Step By Step Cleaning And Quality Assurance Process
At MER, we prioritize cleanliness, garment care, and quality control to ensure every rental feels fresh, looks flawless, and is truly event-ready. This high quality standard is an integral aspect of what makes MER rentals feel like new and keeps Circular Fashion safe, trusted, and truly wearable.
Wet, Dry & Spot Cleaning
Prior to your pick up date, we begin with a primary quality check to assess your chosen outfit’s condition. Then we wet clean, dry clean, and/or spot clean as needed based on the fabric, detailing, and embellishments.
Quality Assurance & Repair Work
We perform a secondary quality check to inspect fabric integrity, embellishments, seams, and closures to ensure everything is in perfect condition. Any needed repair work is handled right away, and we adjust the garment to your measurements so it fits well and looks its best.
Jewellery Care & Safety
If you choose jewellery, each piece is carefully cleaned and disinfected between uses using alcohol disinfectant wipes, with extra attention to earring posts and contact points so you receive it clean and ready to wear.
Final Sanitation & Steaming
As one of our final key sanitation steps, we lightly spray each outfit with anti bacterial disinfectant spray and then steam it. The high heat from the steam (above 167°F) helps to kill any remaining germs and pathogens on the garment’s surface. This process also smoothes out any creases on the outfit, so it looks crisp and clean.
Protective Garments Bags
Every outfit is stored in a protective garment bag to keep it clean and fresh. We also reuse our garment bags whenever possible, and wipe them down thoroughly between uses to keep each rental outfit hygienic and presentable.
